Coffee Chews PDP — what's wrong on mobile, and the exact fix

The product page isn't broken — it loads fast (1.7–2.7s), Add-to-Cart works, checkout fires. Three mobile-UX frictions slow a cold ad visitor before they can buy. Tap any image to zoom.

Three independent audits found the same three problems — our Shopify analysis, Hector's Meta/GA4 status report, and the X/Twitter in-app landing audit. That agreement is why these are worth fixing first. The buy box itself is well-built; the issue is position and interruptions, not design or speed.
Problem 1: no CTA on first screen
Problem 2: popup covers buy box
Problem 3: sticky bar promotes popup
Good: buy box is excellent but 2 screens down

The fixes, in priority order (for the Shopify team)

  1. #1Sticky mobile Add-to-Cart bar — price + button pinned to the bottom of the screen (replacing the current "Get your welcome offer" bar). Puts the buy action in front of a visitor who won't scroll two screens. Verify: on a 390×844 phone, Add-to-Cart is visible without scrolling.
  2. #2Hold the pop-up back for ad traffic — in Klaviyo targeting, don't show the welcome pop-up when the URL contains utm_medium=paid_social until after Add-to-Cart (or on cart exit). Right now it covers the buy box at the moment of intent. Verify: load an ad URL, scroll the full page, confirm no pop-up before Add-to-Cart.
  3. #3Bigger close button + dismissible offer bar — enlarge the pop-up close target to ≥44×44px (it's 19px now), make the bottom offer bar dismissible, and hide it while the cart drawer is open (it currently overlaps Checkout).
  4. #4Test one-time purchase as the default for cold ad traffic (keep Subscribe & Save as a visible upsell). Lower commitment on the first tap for a visitor who's never tried it. Compare add-to-cart rate before/after.
  5. #5Lighten mobile weight — drop the unused Amazon Pay preload, review the three Google tags for duplicates. Steadier on cellular inside an in-app browser.
